Tasting Notes
Under the new direction of Sebastien Petit, the 2020 Chateau
Candeley achieves a generous varietal expression with this latest vintage. Deep blueberry, black plum, chocolate and spice flavors
complement a round mouthfeel and dense concentration of tannins.
Tasting Notes
The nose is intense and complex of exotic white fruits and citrus mixed with floral notes of linden and acacia. The palate is rich, generous, ample and intensely fruity, very good tension. Lemon freshness of Sauvignon Blanc delicately coats the exotic sweetness (mango & lychee) of the ripe Semillon. Finally, mineral notes bringing a good salinity.
Tasting Notes
Intense color, ruby reflections and shiny. Black fruits, warm cedar, hints of black licorice, mocha notes on the nose. Palate is medium bodied, with a punch of dark fruit laced with hints of vanilla and
accented by pepper, spice and mocha notes.
Tasting Notes
Slow maceration enables the preservation of the fruit flavors
necessary for the harmony of barrel-aged wines. All of these
precautions enhance the controlled balance of the wine, whose
elegant palate expresses notes of red and black fruit, with enveloping tannins on the finish. It’s medium-bodied with firm, fine tannins. Sleek and elegant. Racy and energetic.
